The third season of the crime thriller Mirzapur, one of the most anticipated seasons, is around the corner. The season 3 trailer has dropped and stakes are high. With amped up violence, gore, lust and gang rivalries, the fight for the throne is going to nothing short of nail biting.

The trailer reveals Guddu bhaiya (Ali Faizal) taking charge by breaking the statue of the powerful Kaleen bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) suggesting the changed power dynamics in Mirzapur and the series of events that await both the characters and the viewers alike.

But the fight for the throne involves many key contenders. With Bharat Tyagi (Vijay Verma), Golu (Shweta Tripathi), politician Madhuri Yadav (Isha Talwar), Beena Tripathi (Rasika Duggal) and Guddu bhaiya’s estranged parents, played by the talented Sheeba Chadha and Rajesh Tailang, the incoming season promises to deliver an exciting and violent play for power.

The series first premiered in 2018 and quickly garnered a massive following. The second season, released in October 2020, maintained the series’ popularity with its intense plot and strong performances.

Produced and created by Excel Media and Entertainment, the fan-favorite crime-thriller is directed by Gurmeet Singh and Anand Iyer. The ten-episode crime saga will exclusively premiere on Prime Video on July 5.
