As more reviews are coming in, Pushpa 2 was released in theatres on December 5th with the first fan show starting at 2 AM in Karnataka and 4 AM in Kerala. Another moviegoer shared his thoughts saying that the movie has its high moments, showcasing Pushpa’s determination and unrelenting spirit.

He said that the scenes where he smuggles sandalwood across the Chennai border and secures funds for the MLAs are particularly well-crafted. However, he felt that the narrative lost steam once Srivalli’s wish was fulfilled. The final 45 minutes, according to him, meandered into sentimental drama with an overemphasis on fights and emotions.
