Let it be Coachella or Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show, the Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh is etching the entry of India on world stages. And now with the aim of global domination, Diljit got a surprise visit from  Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during his recent performance at Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Diljit, the Indian rapper and Punjabi singer, who recently stormed the internet with his debut on the American talk show with Jimmy Fallon The Tonight Show, is now again driving the audience crazy with international recognition from the Canadian PM.

The iconic visit occurred in the recent Rogers Centre show of Dijit in Canada, where the singer had already made a massive achievement as he became the first Punjabi artist to fill up the venue. Trudeau dropped by the venue before the event started and conveyed his wishes to the singer. Diljit shared this exciting moment on his Instagram handle, where the singer posted the video of the Prime Minister’s visit with the caption, “Diversity is CA‘s strength. Prime Minister @justinpjtrudeau came to check out history in the making: we sold out the Rogers Centre!”

The singer is just spreading the Punjabi vibe worldwide expressing the enthusiasm as the team shouted out his trademark line, “Punjabi aa gaye oye (Punjabis are here)” as the audience cheered on. The Canadian PM also shared his heartfelt meet on his Instagram and wrote, “Stopped by the Rogers Centre to wish @diljitdosanjh good luck before his show. Canada is a great country — one where a guy from Punjab can make history and sell out stadiums. Diversity isn’t just our strength. It’s a superpower.”
