Be it Ed Sheeran or Sia, Diljit drops the hottest and unexpected collabs to surprise his fans, uniting the two different worlds. The Punjabi singer and actor has added another name to the list. Making his debut appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Diljit shared some hilarious behind-the-scene moments, and teaching Fallon some Punjabi.
In a viral video, Diljit can seen in teaching Fallon some Punjabi phrases, while the host tried to follow him. As Jimmy repeats, “Punjabi aa gaye oye (The Punjabi has arrived).” The funny interactions continued with Fallon impressing the singer with his smooth delivery of the Punjabi greeting “Sat Sri Akal.” Sharing the BTS moments on Instagram, Fallon wrote “Sat Sri Akal! @diljitdosanjh“

Apart from his impressive performances, Diljit, who is also known for his unique fashion choices, made his appearance in a traditional Punjabi attire with a matching turban and a distinctive pleated fan. In another video, the Punjabi singer exchanged his iconic black gloves with Jimmy’s custom white gloves adorned with the show’s logo. Diljit usually wears black gloves during performances. Diljit also performed his superhit songs on the show, including G.O.A.T, and Born to Shine among others. The video of his performance was also been shared on the Instagram page of the show as it penned “@diljitdosanjh performs “G.O.A.T.”! #FallonTonight.” The impact of the performance is quite evident with the comment section filled with fans feeling proud to see a Punjabi singer setting fire to the stage.
