'Sardaar Ji 3': Diljit Dosanjh's Punjabi Film Gets A Release Date (Image-Instagram/diljitdosanjh)
Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, after delivering two Punjabi blockbuster hits with Sardaar Ji and Sardaar Ji 2, is now gearing up for the third installment of the popular franchise. The actor will be teaming up with director Amar Hundal for this project.

This upcoming installment of the franchise, Sardaraji 3, will hit theaters in June 2025. This film will feature Gulshan Grover, Manav Vij, Nasir Chinyoti, Monica Sharma and Saleem Albela as the supporting cast, with Diljit taking up the lead.

Announcing the release date, the Punjabi rapper treated his fans with some behind-the-scenes photos from this fantasy horror entertainer. He also captioned his post, “Sardaar Ji 3 Movie in JUNE.”

To the audience’s surprise, reports also suggest that Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has joined the cast of Sardaar Ji 3. This speculation arose when Hania attended Diljit’s concert in London a few months ago. Notably, during his London concert, Diljit also invited Hania on the stage.
Additionally, Diljit is also working on his upcoming movie Punjab 95. The drama is based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. He was the director of a bank in Amritsar during the militancy period in Punjab.

The first installment of the franchise, Sardaar Ji, which was released in 2015, was one of the first fantasy films to be made in Punjabi cinema. Moreover, this film also had the biggest opening ever for a Punjabi film in Punjab. This film earned around Rs 38.38 crore at the box office. The sequel to the film Sardaar Ji 2 received mixed reviews, grossing less than the first film and was declared average at the box office.
