The makers of Ram Charan‘s upcoming big-budget creation Game Changer are gearing up for its grand release this Christmas. Due to a short delay in post-production, the movie has been postponed to the end of the year.
Slated for the Dusshera release, the political thriller of acclaimed director Shankar is set to hit the theaters as a Christmas treat this year. Addressing the audience at the pre-release event of Raayan, Dil Raju the producer of Sri Venkateswara Creations disclosed the update.

The pre-release event of Dhanush’s upcoming crime thriller Raayan took place in Hyderabad on July 21. Reacting to the screams of “Game Changer” by the audience, Dil Raju smiled and said, “Game Changer? Let’s meet during Christmas.”
As per earlier reports, the shooting process of the film was wrapped up in July. However, the film’s shooting is not fully complete. A few portions with the rest of the cast are pending. Since Shankar has been busy with the post-production of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, work on Game Changer was halted. Now that the director is back, the entire shooting is likely to wrap up in a few weeks. This film marks the first-ever collaboration of actor Ram Charan with the director.

The story has been written by Karthik Subbaraj while the screenplay is jointly written by Shankar, Vivek Velmurugan, and Sai Madhav Burra. Reports also revealed that it is likely to see lead actor Ram Charan in triple roles in the movie.
The film’s ensemble cast includes Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Jayaram, Srikanth, Sunil, Samuthirakani, and Nassar. Composer S Thaman, cinematographer Tirru, and editor Shameer Muhammed are part of the technical crew.
At this rate, the political thriller will clash with Aamir Khan’s Sitare Zameen Par, Hollywood release Mufasa: The Lion King, and other major releases.
