Salaar Producer Clarifies On Rumours Of Yash's Cameo Role In The FilmPrabhas starrer Salaar is all set to hit big screens within days. The recently released trailer of the movie has created all the raves among fans and heightened the anticipation for the movie. The movie made another wave among the fans when reports started to emerge that KGF star Yash would join Prabhas in Salaar.
Various fan theories stated that Yash will play a cameo role in Salaar. But producer of the movie dismissed the rumor and confirmed that Yash will not join Prabhas. Vijay Kiragandur, the producer said while talking to India Today that, “I think Prashanth (director) has clarified already that there is no link (between Salaar and KGF). There is no cameo in the movie. So it is not true”.
The origin of the rumor is believed to be when child singer Theertha Subhash accidentally mentioned Yash appearing in a cameo role in Salaar while talking to the media. She later clarified the report on her Instagram and wrote, “I have seen the KGF movie many times. When the opportunity arose, my father had said that Salaar’s music and stuff was the KGF team. So I had in my mind that Yash uncle will also be in Salaar. I was wrong”.
Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire is helmed by KGF franchise famed director Prashanth Neel. Along with Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran plays an important role in the movie. Aside from them, the movie features a stellar cast including Shruti Hassan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju and many others. The movie is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. As per the reports, Salaar will be released in two parts. The movie will hit the theatres on December 22.
