Shah Rukh Khan, 'The Last Of Stars' Turns 59 (@pooja_dadlani)
No matter who enters and who left, Shah Rukh Khan is the “last of stars”. The ‘King’ possesses it all. Class, charm, swag, love, arrogance, and sharp wit. His incredible journey is celebrated all over on his 59th birthday. As days passed, Khan wrote it in bold letters that indeed he is the “reigning monarch” of the Tinsel town, as none managed to climb up to his level of popularity and love.
King Khan’s language of love is what entranced the millions of fans around the globe towards him. From Aditya Chopra’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge onwards, the Baadshah has started a new brand of love and named it SRK. But ironic to his fame of being the romantic hero, Mr. Khan never liked love stories. He yearned for anti-hero characters.
He started as villain, and man, does he ate up the roles! To watch SRK in grey, cynic, and titular role is another level of delight. He relishes them. But Shah Rukh Khan as a romantic hero is also a whole different department. He set the bar too high that it has became extremely difficult for men to woo an SRK fan girl. On his last birthday, responding to the sea of love in front of his home, Khan wrote on his X (former twitter) that he is just a “mere actor” who “live in a dream of your love”.

Calling himself the last of stars, Shah Rukh Khan said he wanted to go “with a bang” when the time comes, and for him that time is at the age of 106.
On work front Khan will join his daughter Suhana Khan in Sujoy Ghosh’s next film. Poking pun, Khan said he is doing a ‘biography film’ and its name is ‘King’.
