Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan”s much-awaited pan-India potboiler Jawan got a UA (unrestricted public exhibition) certification from the Indian movie censoring agency, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The agency has approved a final version of 169 minutes and 14 seconds after examination. According to a censor certificate doing the rounds online, the agency has cut 0.04 seconds from the movie after the examination.

The movie is directed by famous Tamil movie maker Atlee and has an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (special appearance), Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, Riddhi Dogra, Astha Agarwal, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Amritha Aiyer, Kenny Basumatary, Girija Oak, and Lehar Khan.

The movie featuring SRK in a double role also marks his first collaboration with Atlee. Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, it is produced by Gauri Khan.

‘Jawan’ will be releasing worldwide on September 7, 2023 in three languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

‘Jawan’, an Anirudh musical, is the second release of SRK in 2023 after the blockbuster “Pathaan”. The movie has already raised a huge anticipation after the box-office record breaking performance of ‘Pathaan’ in the box office.
