The English singer-songwriter in India for a concert and he has been attending various events in the business capital Mumbai, and meeting the who’s who of the entertainment industry.
Ed Sheeran, who is in India for his Mathematics tour, born on February 17, 1991, in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England, is a globally renowned singer-songwriter known for his soulful voice, heartfelt lyrics, and masterful guitar skills.
Earlier on Tuesday, the singer visited a school in Mumbai and interacted with the students and did some small performances during the interaction.
“When u get to direct Ed sheeran & Shahrukh khan u get? …. #SherKhan of course,” Farah Khan wrote on Instagram after sharing a video of both Mr Khan and Mr Sheeran performing the famous ‘Shah Rukh Khan pose’.

Earlier, while talking to media, the singer, whose ‘Shape of you’ topped the singles chart in 34 countries and became the first song to touch two billion streams on Spotify, has expressed his desire to cast ‘India’s biggest star’ Shah Rukh Khan for one of his songs.
The singer who is visiting India for a third time was raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. Sheeran, who began pursuing music at a young age, honing his craft through live performances and self-released albums, was in India in 2019 last.
In 2011, the singer gained widespread recognition with his debut studio album “+”, featuring hit singles like “The A Team” and “Lego House”. His subsequent albums, including “x” (2014) and “÷” (2017), solidified his status as one of the best-selling artists of the decade, earning him numerous awards and accolades.
Beyond his solo career, Sheeran has collaborated with various artists across genres, showcasing his versatility and musical prowess. Known for his down-to-earth personality and genuine connection with fans, Sheeran continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his heartfelt performances and infectious charm.
The Mathematics tour began on April 23, 2022 in Dublin, Ireland, and will conclude in Mumbai, India. The tour in India scheduled to be on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse Mumbai and it will present as the grand finale for Sheeran’s Asia Tour. The event, according to reports, will also feature singer-songwriter Calum Scott as a special guest.
