Shraddha Kapoor’s LinkedIn Flagged As Fake: Here’s What Happened

Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor recently faced an unexpected digital hiccup when her verified LinkedIn profile was mistakenly tagged as “fake.”

Sharing her experience on Instagram, the actress wrote, “Dear LinkedIn, I’m not being able to use my own account because LinkedIn thinks it’s fake. Can someone please help me?”

Shraddha added that despite having a premium and verified account, it was inaccessible to others, hindering her plans to share insights about her entrepreneurial journey.

As co-founder and brand ambassador of the jewellery brand Palmonas, Shraddha was keen to engage her professional audience online.

LinkedIn responded swiftly, resolving the issue within an hour, even on a Saturday night. Grateful for the prompt assistance, Shraddha shared a follow-up story expressing her appreciation with a clap and salute emoji.

The daughter of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, she made her acting debut with a brief role in the 2010 heist film Teen Patti and had her first leading role in the teen drama Luv Ka The End (2011).

Although these early films did not achieve major success, Kapoor’s breakthrough came with Mohit Suri’s romantic musical Aashiqui 2 (2013), which earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress.

She received widespread critical acclaim for her performance in Vishal Bhardwaj’s drama Haider (2014), where she portrayed a character inspired by Ophelia. Over the years, she established herself as a versatile actress with hits like Ek Villain (2014), ABCD 2 (2015), and Baaghi (2016), showcasing her range across romance, action, and dance genres.

Apart from acting, Kapoor has contributed as a singer for several of her films and is a prominent celebrity endorser. She launched her own clothing line in 2015 and has become a social media icon, being the most-followed Indian woman on Instagram.

On the cinematic front, Shraddha Kapoor continues to make headlines with her film projects. She is set to star in Nikhil Dwivedi’s upcoming film Naagin, where she was the first and only choice for the lead role. The actress also recently delighted fans by reprising her iconic role in Stree 2, one of last year’s biggest box office hits.
