Tamil Actor Vijay's Son Jason Sanjay To Make His Directorial Debut Soon (Image: https://www.instagram.com/lycaproductions/)Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay is all set to set his foot into movie direction.
He has signed his maiden directorial venture with the entertainment company Lyca Productions on August 28.
The big announcement was made by the production company themselves through the social media. They have shared pictures of Mr Sanjay signing the agreements.
“We are beyond excited & proud to introduce Jason Sanjay in his Directorial Debut”, wrote Lyca productions with Thalapathy’s ‘Naan Ready’ song in the background.
“We wish him a career filled with success & contentment carrying forward the legacy!”, They added.

“It is a matter of pride for me that my first film to be directed by a prestigious production company like Lyca Productions. The production house is a place to nurture talent and create opportunities for new directors. I am very happy that they liked my story. Similarly, I have been given full freedom to act with creative freedom”, the Hindustan Times quoted Mr Sanjay from an interview.
“We are currently in talks with rising stars and technicians in the film industry. I am thankful to Subhaskaran sir for this opportunity. It has created a great excitement and a great responsibility for me. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Tamil Kumaran, who has been a great support in realizing my dream of becoming a director,” Mr Sanjay added.
Vijay fans took social media to congratulate the father and son. “Kutty Thalapathy”, wrote a user on Instagram. “The cub is here”, wrote another.
The title of the movie is yet to be announced.
Lyca Productions has been involved in the production and distribution of Tamil and Hindi films. The movies they have produced includes Ponniyin Selvan, 2.0, Kolamavu Kokila, Kathi and many more.
Jason Sanjay has completed his BA (Hons) in Screenwriting from London and secured a Diploma in Film Production from Toronto Film School. He also directed a short film called Pull The Trigger.
Recently, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan had also announced that he will make his directorial debut with a web series.
