Tamil actor Vishal denied the rumours, that he secretly married actress Lakshmi Menon, on Friday.
“Since the rumour about my marriage with Laksmi Menon is doing the rounds, I point blankly deny this and it’s absolutely not true and baseless”, said Mr Vishal through X (formerly Twitter).
Vishal and Laksmi Menon have co-starred in movies like Pandiya Naadu (2013), and Naan Sigappu Manithan (2014).
Even though several rumours about Vishal were in circulation for a long time, he hasn’t made a response. “Usually, I don’t respond to any fake news or rumours about me coz [because] I feel it’s useless”, said Vishal in X.

“The reason behind my response [this time] is only because it involves a Girl firstly more than her being an actress”, he added.
He also accused people for “invading and spoiling a girl’s private life and maligning her image”.
Mr Vishal is an actor and producer who predominantly works in Tamil film industry. He was born to film producer G. K. Reddy, and is majorly known for his action roles. He also runs a production company named Vishal Film Factory.
Mr Vishal entered into the film industry as an assistant director and made his debut as an actor with Chellame in 2004.
As the Indian Express reports, earlier, he was dating Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, his co-star in Sandakozhi 2. But they eventually broke up. Mr Vishal was later engaged to Anisha Alla Reddy, but called off their wedding ultimately for undisclosed reasons.
