Based on a real-life incident that happened at the Kolar Gold Factory (KGF) in Karnataka under British rule, the film explores the unexplored history of Tamil Nadu’s Dalits and how they mined and created the KGF. Even though the film appears to be a quest for gold, it explores something more than what appears to be the target.
