Ticket Selling, Booking Intact Despite High Court Stay On Release Of 'The Kerala Story 2
The ticket booking for the controversial movie, The Kerala Story 2, has been continuing online despite the Kerala High Court ordering an interim stay on the release of the film.
The development was informed to a single bench was informed on Friday. The petitioners, Sreedev Namboodiri and Freddy Francis, submitted the matter before Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas, The New Indian Express reported.

The court had stayed the release on the petitioners’ plea. Online ticketing platforms and cinema chains, which are either ambiguous or confused over the stay on release. Though major cinema chains like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis do not show any The Kerala Story 2 shows on online ticketing platforms like BookMyShow and District, many of the film’s shows are still available.
The movie’s shows are open for booking in Mumbai in almost all the Maxus Cinemas in the city on BookMyShow. 21 theatres in Mumbai are still selling tickets for the film, according to the platform.
