Tollywood actor Raj Tarun has been booked for cheating on his ex-partner Lavanya. Narsingi police have registered a criminal case against the actor on Tuesday.
The Lover actor was recently accused by Lavanya who filed a complaint alleging Raj Tarun of betrayal and abandonment after an alleged affair with Malvi Malhotra.

Lavanya previously filed a petition against Tarun’s Thiragabadara Saami co-star Malvi, her brother, and their associates for allegedly threatening her. In her latest complaint, Lavanya claims to have been married to Raj Tarun for ten years, in 2014. She states that they dated for a decade after they met in 2008, before getting married. She alleged that the actor had avoided getting the marriage registered.
Lavanya also claimed that Raj Tarun forced her to undergo an abortion a few years ago in 2016, providing medical reports as evidence. Lavanya further alleges that she and her family have financially supported Raj Tarun, providing him with Rs. 70 lakhs.
In a shocking twist, Lavanya also accused the actor and Malvi of framing her in a drug case. She claims that she was arrested at Secunderabad railway station in January and held in jail for 45 days on false charges.
The police has registered a case under sections 420 (cheating), 493 (cohabiting with a woman under a pretense of marriage), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC against three individuals.

However, actress Malvi has denied these allegations and filed a separate complaint against Lavanya accusing her of character assassination. The actress also broke down while addressing the issue stating, “I’ve filed a complaint against Lavanya and have given my side of the story. She’s assassinating my character, I have no relationship with Raj Tarun. We even stopped speaking 8 months ago because of this girl. She threatened my family, who live in Himachal Pradesh, and filed a complaint against my brother. I’m not interested in their personal lives; leave me out of it. I just did my first Telugu film, and she’s spoiling my reputation.”
