When Tripti Dimri enters to the movie, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has almost passed the half time and the viewer was waiting for a breath to escape the heavy noise and shooting scenes and also the uncontrollable ecstasy of the protagonist, Ranvijay Singh “Vijay” portrayed by none other than Ranbir Kapoor. Then enters the most beautiful and charming element of the movie, Zoya Wahab Riaz, Tripti Dimri’s character. The shots in slow pace in the movie captures the intensity of the character who wanted to meet the person who is now hosting her fiancé’s heart. The shot and emotions Tripti Dimri embody was breeze. It was a solace for the viewer after witnessing mayhem in scenes before that.
She talks to ‘Vijay’ in the next scene and then he doesn’t let her leave. There happens an extra-marital affair for the ‘out of control’ hero and Zoya stays in the movie for a little long. They both are in the bungalow of the hero’s grandfather and make love. You will see intense lovemaking scenes and will get the feeling that the hero has fallen for Zoya. Then there is a twist in the story: Zoya turns out to be a mole from the villain’s family who are out there to take revenge against the past deeds of Vijay’s business family.
But, Zoya reveals her love for Vijay and somehow he lets her live.
These scenes were enough for Tripti Dimri to steal the heart of crores. Now she is being called the “national crush”, the nomenclature earlier bestowed on Priya Prakash Varrier and Rashmika Mandanna, the main heroine of the movie, Animal.
