United States: American rapper Lil Nas X recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, a condition that causes weakness in one side of the face. The artist has been hospitalised after suffering from partial paralysis on his face.
The 26-year-old rapper took to social media, opened up about his condition, not being able to smile. He posted a video showing the difficulty in moving the right side of his face, and said, “When I smile, this is me making a full smile right now, by the way… it’s like, what the f–k. I can’t even laugh right, bro. What the f–k! Oh my god. So… oh my god, bro. So… yeah.”

The condition results in sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face, and it can happen for various reasons, including inflammation and swelling of the facial nerve, caused by viral infections or autoimmune responses.
However, the symptoms are usually temporary, according to the medical professionals, though some cases will have lingering symptoms.

The rapper has had a tight schedule, making state appearances and shows in recent times, and fans have been urging him to take time off for immediate recovery.
Several U.S. rappers have publicly discussed having Bell’s palsy. Recently, rappers Skinnyfromthe9, 29, and Conway the Machine, 43 revealed that they have suffered from Bell’s palsy.
