What Rajinikanth Said About Prabhas-Deepika-Kamal-Bachchan Starrer Kalki 2898 AD

Indian superstar Rajinikanth called Nag Ashwin’s Prabhas-Deepika dystopian film Kalki 2898 AD an epic and said the director has taken the Indian cinema to another level. The Tamil actor has also congratulated the crew of the movie including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan among others in an X post.

”Watched Kalki. WOW! What an epic movie! Director @nagashwin7 has taken Indian Cinema to a different level. Hearty congratulations to my dear friend @AswiniDutt @SrBachchan @PrabhasRaju @ikamalhaasan @deepikapadukone and the team of #Kalki2898AD. Eagerly await Part 2. God Bless,” he wrote.

On expressing his gratitude Director Ashwin replied, “Sir speechless blessed from our whole team (sic).”

Kalki 2898 AD has set the box office on fire not only in India but also across the globe. The film has already earned Rs 149 crore in just 2 days of its release in India and is expected to cross the Rs 200 crore mark before the end of the day. In North America, it has crossed the US $ 7 million mark ( 59 crores) and will be adding another US $3 to US $ 4 million in the next 2 days.
Besides the lead cast, the film also has a stellar lineup of special appearances from SS Rajamouli, Ram Gopal Varma, Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Deverakonda, and Dulquer Salmaan.
