YouTube Star Twomad Dies at 23; Investigation Ongoing (image-instagram/twomad360)
Popularly known as Twomad, YouTube star Muudea Sedik was reportedly found unresponsive at his residence in Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday night, as per a TMZ report.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) discovered his body during a wellness check after Sedik had not been in contact with anyone and missed appointments. Although the cause of the death is unclear, according to TMZ, his death is being investigated as a possible case of overdose after the authorities found drug paraphernalia at his residence. Currently, no foul play is suspected in his death.
Emergency services were requested by concerned parties after the YouTuber failed to respond to appointments and made no contact for several days. The LAPD found Sedik’s body, although it remains unclear how long he had been in an unresponsive state.
The Youtuber had caused alarm and concern among his fandom after he tweeted photos of firearms and strange, one-off tweets.
Fans suspect that Sedik passed away while playing ‘Overwatch’, as his Discord page reveals him to be active for over six days.
On February 15, a Youtuber called Jameskii took to X (formerly known as Twitter) accusing Sedik of being “a rapist and pedophile” and levelling charges of attempted murder against him. The tweet has now gone viral, garnering over 53.3 million views.
Sedik had started creating videos in 2016 and was known for his gaming videos, vlogs, and sketches. The 23-year-old YouTuber boasted over two million subscribers on the platform. His last video, “How I Became CEO of RadioShack,” was posted a year ago and had amassed over 1.4 million views. The YouTuber had sent his fanbase into frenzy with his collaboration with Only Fans model and fellow YouTuber Belle Delphine.
