
Officials Probe Deaths Due To Fake Doctor's Surgeries In Madhya Pradesh Hospital
Damoh, Madhya Pradesh: In a shocking case, at least seven patients died after undergoing heart surgery in a private hospital in Damoh city in Madhya Pradesh. The incident has led to allegations of a ‘fake’ doctor performing surgeries in the hospital. The Madhya Pradesh district officials are currently examining the allegations, reports NDTV.
After the back-to-back deaths within a month, people in the area raised suspicion alleging fake doctor performing surgeries. However, 0fficials have found that a person named N John Kem took up the job in the hospital, falsely claiming to be a cardiologist while impersonating another famous British doctor with the same name. Notably, after investigation, it was revealed that the real name of the fake doctor was Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav.

It is reported that after joining the hospital, he began performing heart surgeries on patients, and the patients who underwent surgery died later on, according to the officials. Though the official death count is seven, the actual reality could be much higher, according to Deepak Tiwari, an advocate and district president of the Child Welfare Committee. He had filed a complaint with the Damoh District Magistrate earlier.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Tiwari said that some patients who did not die came and told them about the incident and that they had taken their father to the hospital. “The guy was ready to operate, but they were a bit apprehensive, so they took their father to Jabalpur. We then got to know that there was this fake doctor working at the hospital; the real guy is in Britain, and this guy’s name is Narendra Yadav. “There is a case against him in Hyderabad, and he has never shown his real documents,” ANI quoted Tiwari.
However, after the allegations surfaced, the district investigating team seized all documents from the hospital. The probe later revealed that the fake doctor, Vikramaditya Yadav, had filed fake documents similar to the famous British doctor, whom he impersonated. Vikramaditya Yadav was reportedly found to have been involved in multiple controversies, including a criminal case registered in Hyderabad.
Authorities are currently investigating the issue of the matter of multiple deaths in the missionary hospital.
