Kottayam, Kerala: The Communist Party of India (Marxism) has issued a statement slamming Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, for his comments equating Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and CPI(M) during an event in Kottayam, Kerala on Friday.

“My biggest complaint with them is that they don’t have feelings for people. “You can give any speeches. “If you don’t feel for people, you are not ready to connect and hug people. You will not be a leader,” the Raebareli MP said.

Notably, in its statement, the left party called the Congress leader’s comment “absurd and condemnable.” The communist party pointed out that Rahul Gandhi forgets who is fighting the RSS in Kerala, adding that it is CPI(M), which has lost countless dedicated workers in “resisting saffron terror.”
