During a pre-wedding celebration at a five-star hotel in Uttar Pradesh, a businessman pushed his son”s friend off the terrace. The incident, captured on CCTV, occurred in the early hours of Sunday in Bareilly. The victim could be seen touching the man”s feet just moments before the attack.
Sarthak Agrawal, who was rushed to a medical college in a critical condition, is said to be a businessman in the health sector. Agrawal had gone to the hotel to attend a friend”s wedding. However, an argument broke out between him and Ridim Arora, one of his friends, and escalated into a physical fight around 2 AM. Matters escalated when Ridim called his father Sanjeev Arora, a textile businessman, to the terrace.
The surveillance footage showed the heated exchanges between the two groups, after which Sanjeev Arora enters the scene. Sarthak Agrawal is seen touching Sanjeev Arora”s feet, a customary gesture, only to be met with aggression. Sanjeev Arora then grabs him by the collar, slaps him and pushes him off the terrace. As others run to check on Sarthak, Sanjeev Arora turns to another man and beats him up.

The police have filed an FIR stating that the accused were drunk and attacked the victim without any provocation.
