Congress Leader, Former Union Minister Shivraj Patil Dies At 91
Senior Congress leader and former Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil died on Friday at his residence in Maharashtra’s Latur. Also, a former Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Patil has held key portfolios in the Union Cabinet during the UPA government.
A seven-time MP from Maharashtra’s Latur constituency, the former minister was a high-profile figure in the party. He was 91 years old when he breathed his last at around 6:30 am today.

He was also a former Speaker of the Lok Sabha and held key portfolios in the Union Cabinet during the UPA government. Patil had won the Latur Lok Sabha seat seven times.
