ED Raids Properties Linked To TN Minister KN Nehru

Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Enforcement Directorate (ED) based on Chennai zone are conducting a series of series of raids at several locations targeting properties linked to Tamil Nadu minister KN Nehru’s brother KN Ravichandran and his son KN Arun Nehru in relation to a financial irregularities case.

The raids were linked to a Rs. 22 crore bank crore bank fraud case involving Truedom EPC Limited, where Nehru’s brother, N Ravichandran, serves as a director, PTI reports. ​

The construction firm owned by Ravichandran, True Value Home (TVH) also come under agency’s scanner. Headquartered in Chennai, TVH is one of the South India’s prominent real estate development firms. The group has been building luxury villas and flats in various cities in Tamil Nadu.

As per the Times of India report, in the morning, ED has  also launched searches in the Minister Nehru’s younger brother, Manivannan’s flat at TVH Ekanta apartment at Masakalipalayam.

Meanwhile, inspections are also going on at houses of Nehru’s brothers Ramalingam, and Ravichandran in Trichy and at the minister’s house in Thillai Nagar in the city, the New Indian Express reports.

The ED has not released an official statement concerning the outcomes of these search operations so far. Further details are still awaited.
