Masala Bond Case: ED Issues Notice To Kerala CM Over Alleged Violation Of FEMA Provisions
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) recently issued a show-cause notice to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in connection with Masala Bond case.
The notices have been also sent to former finance minister T M Thomas Isaac and KIIFB Chief Executive Officer K M Abraham for allegedly violating FEMA Provisions linked to the ‘masala bond’ issued by the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB).

The notice pertains to the alleged contravention of FEMA provisions and the RBI master direction, with the quantified amount of the violation totalling Rs 466.91 crore.
