A video of a 10-year-old cute little boy crying in front of Ganpati idol went viral during last Ganesh Chaturthi. The little guy was sitting on a river bank and was crying his heart out while he ‘fed’ laddoos to the Ganesh idol. He was heard as saying “Jaldi aana (Come back quickly).”

When the priest tried to take the idol for immersion in the river, he cried harder.

Social media went mad seeking who the boy was. The video raked up millions of views. While many were awe-struck at his devotion, some others smelt fraud.

Being called as “Bal Sant” by some of his followers, Arora considers himself as Balram and worships Shree Krishna as his younger brother.

In an interview, the said that he starts his day at 3.30 am. After waking up in Brahma muhurta, he does ‘mala jaap’ (reads the rosary). At 4 am, he does pooja at home. Then, at 6.30 am, he does the Tulsi Puja Parikrama and offers “Bhog” to the Bal Gopal in his home.

During in one of his interviews, he said nobody wanted to sit beside him in his school, when he was three years old, because he greeted them with “Radhe Radhe” or “Jai Shri Ram.”

As per the words of the boy and his parents, he has no friends and has no desire to have any. They claim that he has little to no interest in toys or smartphones and also claims to have never used one. He feels that the TV is a diversion. All the boy wants is to talk to Radha and Krishna, recounts stories and cites religious writings.

But, the repeat same answers in almost all of the interviews. And all the interviewers seem to parrot same questions. His parents would take over when they think it is necessary. If any new questions were asked, the boy will not respond.

An X user (Bloody Media) and Youtuber (Only Desi) expose the fraudulent behaviour behind the child’s acts.

He appeared stuck when one interviewer asked if he feels uneasy when people stop to take selfies with him often.

To speak about Abhinav Arora, one must know about his father, Tarun Raj Arora. He is a solid business background and also an expert in business marketing. Over 4 to 5 years ago, he started an ice-cream factory called Falooda Express. While promoting the ice cream on YouTube channel called Janta Junction,  Abhinav and his other family members were seen as giving “genuine public review”.

An X user exposed the fraudulent activities of Tarun Arora.

During the ice cream business, Tarun Arora made an ad with his son. In the video, he was seen as calling his mother ‘Mummy’ instead of ‘Maaiya,’ a term he recently started using then “God” instead of “Bhagwan/Prabhu Ji”. He was also seen as using mobile phone, and playing with toys, contrary to what the family fed media.

The exposure raise concern over the child’s health and future, and calls out his parents’ selfish desire for money and fame, which ended up using their child as a pawn. According to the Child Protection Act, it’s illegal to use a child as a promotional tool, and his parents should be held accountable and face legal action, points out netizens.
