Organised by the Bharatiya Kisan Parishad (BKP), the protest will begin at 12 pm with farmers from over 20 districts, such as Bulandshahr, Agra, Buddha Nagar, and Aligarh, expected to participate.
Their demands include 64.7 percent more compensation under the old land acquisition law and four times the market rate for land acquisition after January 1, 2014. Another demand is the allocation of 10 percent of plots under the old acquisition law and 20 percent for land acquired after the specified date.
