Hyderabad: 36-Year-Old Woman And Her 22-Year-Old Lover Arrested For Allegedly Murdering Husband
Boduppal, Hyderabad: Medipally police recently arrested three persons, including the victim’s wife, accused of murdering her 45-year-old husband at Boduppal earlier this month.
The man, identified as VJ Ashok, was earlier reported to have collapsed inside the washroom, leading to his death. The wife, J Purnima, 36, had initially claimed that her husband fell in the washroom and was declared dead at a government hospital in Malkajgiri.

After close examination, police raised suspicion of seeing injuries on the victim’s cheeks and neck. The following investigation, including analysis of the footage and technical evidence, led to the truth.
The 36-year-old Purnima was allegedly in a relationship with a 22-year-old Paleti Mahesh, a construction worker from Prakasam district in AP. After the husband noticed the relationship, frequent disputes occurred between the couple.

On December 11, Mahesh along with his friend Bhukya Sai Kumar alias Sai, a student from Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, allegedly restrained and assaulted him while Purnima held his legs. The incident happened when the victim reached the home after his work. He was a logistics manager at a private university, and was found dead at his residence in East Brundavan Colony.
Mahesh is accused of strangling Ashok to death. Notably, the accused allegedly changed the victim’s clothes and destroyed evidence to make the death appear natural, The New Indian Express reported, citing police.
