New Twist: Mother's Blood Swapped With Accused Son To Manipulate Alcohol Influence In Pune Porsche Case

As the investigation goes on, another shocking development has been revealed in the Pune Porsche accident that killed two bikers. According to a report, the blood of the accused 17-year-old driver of the speeding Porsche that rammed into the bike, was swapped with his mother, Shivani Agarwal”s sample while it was being kept for the the alcohol test at the hospital.

Crime Breach has arrested two doctors – forensic sciences department head Dr. Ajay Taware and casualty medical officer Dr Shrihari Halnor and a staffer from govt-run Sassoon General Hospital for switching the blood samples of the teenager, Times of India reports.

According to police, the doctors performed the foul play at the behest of the father of the accused, businessman Vishal Agarwal. The police further noted that the trio was trying to manipulate the reports, which stated that the minor was under the influence of alcohol while driving the vehicle when it hit the two-wheeler.

The police said the investigation found that the accused”s father hired a middleman to connect with the forensic department head. The businessman then contacted Taware around 10 am on May 19. When the police scrutinised the businessman”s phone, it showed that he made one regular call to Taware and later used an application to make 20 more calls

Notably, earlier, the police had said that the blood sample of the accused teen was thrown in a dustbin. The police said that the casualty medical officer Dr Shrihari Halnor admitted that he received Rs three lakh from Taware to put the blood sample in the bin and replace it with the sample of his mother.

The CCTV footage from the night the Porsche hit the bike showed the teenager drinking with his friends, and the family was allegedly trying to manipulate the report.

The accident that occurred on May 19 killed two 24-year-old engineers on the spot when the speeding Porsche hit their bike from behind.
