Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, a Hindu seer and National President of Sant Mahasabha, who is notorious for bizarre remarks, yesterday put forward some demands in connection with India’s Chandrayaan mission.

Now, he wants Moon to be declared as ‘Hindu Rashtra’. It doesn’t end there: He also wants the the soft landing spot, now known as Shiv Shakti point, to be declared as the capital of the said ‘Hindu Rashtra’. His aim: “No terrorist would reach there with Jihadi mentality”.

On August 23, India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission made an extraordinary achievement by landing on the South Pole of the Moon, becoming the first country to do so.

“Moon should be declared as Hindu Sanatan Rashtra from Parliament, “Shiv Shakti Point” should be developed as its capital at the landing place of Chandrayaan 3, so that no terrorist can reach there with Jihadi mentality,” said the seer who is famous for making several outlandish claims and stunts. As the Covid-19 pandemic was spreading, he arranged a ‘gomutra drinking’ programme in Delhi with this followers to keep off the coronavirus.

In the video, he congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for naming the landing spot as ‘Shiv Shakti Point’ and asked the PM to pass a resolution in Indian Parliament to make Moon a ‘Hindu Rashtra’.
