The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, will visit India on September 9, Monday, accepting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation, according to a release by the Ministry of External Affairs. The Prime Minister had visited Abu Dhabi on a two-day trip in February this year, signing and initiating several deals and projects.
The two-day visit—September 9-10—will mark the first visit of the crown prince to India. As per the schedule, on the first day of his visit, the crown prince will meet Prime Minister Modi and hold important discussions on bilateral cooperation. The Price will also visit Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

On the second day, the Abu Dhabi crown price will participate in a business forum in Mumbai, in which business leaders from both countries will take part. The release further noted both countries are historically close and have friendly ties, adding that India and the UAE have deepened the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in recent years in areas including political, trade, investment, connectivity, energy, technology, education, and culture. “The Crown Prince’s visit will further reinforce strong India-UAE bilateral relations and open avenues for partnership in new and emerging areas.,” the release added.
On his visit to India, the crown prince will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, senior officials, business leaders, and prominent economic partners from the UAE.

In January, Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met PM Modi in Gandhinagar during the Gujarat Global Summit. Notably, the UAE has emerged as the fourth largest investor in India in the year 2022–23, highlighting the deepening economic ties between the two countries.
