Finally, the moment has come! Apple announced its extravaganza scheduled for 9th September 2024. The company will host its big ‘Glowtime’ Apple event expected to launch the iPhone 16 series and also get a chance to closely look at the Apple Intelligence (AI)  features infused into iPhones probably by the end of this year, along with that the company may unwrap new AirPods 4, Watch Series 10 at the event.

The teaser has given a hint that Siri activates from the screen edge, popping up with a gleam is linked to the Apple Intelligence unveiling at the event on September 9.


Apple event ahead, what to expect?

The 2024 iPhone lineup is expected to be launched in four exquisite models iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max with a larger display unwrapped than ever in Apple’s smartphone chronicle. The base model would feature a vertical camera arrangement, with the surface raised in a pill shape instead of the previous diagonal set-up. The new camera comes with two separate rings that the vertical yet sleek design may enable Spatial Video Recording.

The new iPhone 16 and 16 Pro Max may carry larger batteries than the previous models as the company is working on stacked battery technology that prolongs lifespan and increases energy across the iPhone lineup. The new models will be equipped with A-18 chips as the Apple Intelligence gears up to debut in the iOS 18. Since it requires a high-powered chip to run on the phone, the AI features are available on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone Pro Max this time along with the new series.

For the Pro and Pro Max models, the company is anticipated to use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon X75 modem only for iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The company will also launch its new AirPods 4, Watch Series 10 at the Apple event. Apple will broadcast the live event on its website and stream it via YouTube channel as well.
