The tech-giant Apple may unwrap its most anticipated iPhone 16 series along with other products and updates likely on September 9, considering the previous years’ dates. Apple’s iPhone models were mostly launched in September every year except the 12-series (held in October 2020). Last year, Apple unwrapped the iPhone 15-series along with Apple watches on September 12, 2023, and it is expected to choose a similar date this year as well.
The company hasn’t made a live event since its extravaganza in September 2018 but showcased a prerecorded video with a tiny hands-on area to display the product at the time of the live event in California which will be one to two hours long as usual. Apple will also broadcast the live event on its website and stream it via YouTube channel as well.

Since Apple is going to unveil the series, We are just 15 days away from witnessing the extravaganza. The company hasn’t spilt the beans yet on the specifications or designs, but rumours have been reverberating here and there whirling with details of the phone which will debut its 16 series.

The 2024 iPhone lineup is expected to be launched in four exquisite models iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max with a larger display unwrapped than ever in Apple’s smartphone chronicle. The base model would feature a vertical camera arrangement, with the surface raised in a pill shape instead of the previous diagonal set-up. The new camera comes with two separate rings that the vertical yet sleek design may enable Spatial Video Recording.
The new iPhone 16 and 16 Pro Max may carry larger batteries than the previous models as the company is working on stacked battery technology that prolongs lifespan and increases energy across the iPhone lineup.
The new models will be equipped with A-18 chips as the Apple Intelligence gears up to debut in the iOS 18. Since it requires a high-powered chip to run on the phone, the AI features are available on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone Pro Max this time along with the new series. For the Pro and Pro Max models, the company is anticipated to use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon X75 modem only for iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
