Prime Minister Modi Takes Scuba Diving Into Submerged Ancient City In Arabian Sea

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took an underwater dive at the Arabian Sea off the coast of Gujarat, and performed a puja at the site of Dwarka, an ancient city which is believed to be submerged under the sea. Prime Minister Modi also prayed at the site and shared photos from his scuba dive and exploration of the city under the sea.

Sharing his spiritual experience at the site of the ancient city in the sea, the Prime Minister took to his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and said he felt connected to an ancient era of spiritual grandeur and timeless devotion. “To pray in the city of Dwarka, which is immersed in the waters, was a very divine experience. I felt connected to an ancient era of spiritual grandeur and timeless devotion. May Bhagwan Shri Krishna bless us all,” the Prime Minister wrote.

The Prime Minister conducted the Scuba diving at the site where the remains of the ancient city were excavated by archaeologists recently. The prime minister’s deep dive into the sea and the prayer there went viral on social media, creating a revival of the ancient city”s hidden significance among the people. The site is accessible through Scuba diving since the excavation and the finding of the city”s remnants.

The prime minister took out the Scuba dive after inaugurating the 4.77-km-long Sudarshan Setu bridge, previously known as a signature bridge. It is by many viewed as an efforts by the Prime Minister to push tourism, especially given the spiritual significance of the site.

With Prime minister”s tweet, describing his experience and spiritual grandeur from the dive at the site of the submerged ancient Hindu temple and city, he is sending out a message inviting others to feel the spiritual experience there.
