As Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann went on his four-day meditation at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, many critics pointed out that the chief minister has followed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying that the exercise “seems to be strange.” Kejriwal’s meditation course at Hoshiarpur had ended on December 30.
Punjab BJP state president Sunil Jakhar took to Twitter and wrote that by going to Vishakhapatnam for meditation, the chief minister is trying to prove that Punjab’s Hoshiarpur meditation center is not good enough, wherein the AAP chief Kejriwal conducted his meditation.
In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Sunil also asked whether the Punjab chief minister’s trip for meditation to expose the Delhi chief minister Kejriwal that his meditation at Hoshiarpur, Panjab was an escape from the central investigative agencies. “Is it to expose Sh Kejriwal ji to charges that his stay in Hoshiarpur was not for doing Vipassana meditation but to seek safe haven from central agencies?” he wrote.
Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal had left for the pre-scheduled Vipassana program at Hoshiarpur in Punjab, skipping the summon from the Enforcement Directorate in the excise policy-linked money laundering case. However, his meditation trip was prescheduled and the information on the trip was in the public domain, according to AAP functionaries. For the past few years, he has been leaving for Vipassana, an ancient Indian mediation practice rooted in Buddha teachings.
However, noting that the Delhi chief minister came to Punjab for meditation while the Punjab chief minister went to Andhra Pradesh for the same, the BJP leader Sunil further said that the Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann is trying to make himself away from Delhi while the things are likely to hot up as Party supremo Kejriwal likely to appears before ED in the policy scam case.
According to a media report, Chief Minister Sh. Bhagwant Mann ji is going to Andhra Pradesh for meditating for four days.
This seems very strange. In doing so is he trying to prove that Punjab’s Hoshiarpur meditation centre is not good enough ?
Is it to expose Sh Kejriwal…
