Software Engineer Falls To Death During New Year Celebrations

A 27-year-old software engineer fell to death while partying at midnight. The tragic incident occurred in Bengaluru. According to the preliminary investigations, Divyanshu Sharma slipped as he tried to throw cigarette ash and fell from the 33rd-floor balcony of his friend”s flat to the walking track.

Sharma and three of his friends had visited a pub in Indiranagar before the incident occurred. “While his friends slept in the bedrooms, Sharma fell asleep in the living room,” a police officer said.

Hailing from Uttar Pradesh”s Kodigehalli, Sharma was working in Bengaluru as a software engineer. His father, a retired Indian Air Force employee, lives in Horamvu with his family, the police said.
