Sripathi earns the title of the first woman tribal judge in Tamil Nadu. 23-year-old, hails from Puliyur village in Javvadumalai in Tiruvannamalai district. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK chief MK Stalin congratulated Sripathi for passing the TNPSC Civil Judge examination.

MK Stalin wrote on social media platform X: “Mrs. Sripathi from Puliyur village next to Javvadumalai in Tiruvannamalai district has passed the law judge exam at the age of 23!”

“I am happy to see that a tribal girl from an underprivileged hill village has achieved this at such a young age,” Stalin added.

Chief Minister remarked that he is proud to know that Sripathi has been selected as a judge through the order that his “Dravidian Model government” has given priority for government jobs for those educated in Tamil. Stalin lauded her mother and husband for supporting her success.

Sripathi was pursuing law while she got married. She continued her studies even after marriage. When the TNPSC Civil Judge exam held last year, she astonished to find that the date of exam and date of delivery falls on the same day. She went into labour and gave birth to a baby on the day before the exam. Determined Sripathi, with the aid of her husband and friends traveled by car on the second day after delivery and wrote the civil judge exam, ABP Nadu reports.
