Fishermen from Tamil Nadu and forest department is winning the hearts of internet today. IAS officer Supriya Sahu on Monday shared the story of a group of local fishermen and personnel of the forest department releasing three dolphins from the fishing net and their prompt action, enabled to save the life of dolphins. The incident happened in at Kakaladi in the Ramnathapuram District.
Taking to X handle, Supriya Sahu wrote: “Local fishermen and Tamil Nadu Foresters safely rescued and released 3 Dolphins accidently caught in fishing nets at Kakaladi in the Ramnathapuram District. Kudos to them. They will be honoured by the District Administration.” She has also shared the heartwarming video in the social media.
