Tamil Nadu: Wife And Lover Kill Husband In Coimbatore, Body Abandoned On Railway Track To Look Like Suicide
Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Coimbatore police have arrested four people, including a 27-year-old woman, for allegedly murdering her husband a week ago. The woman, identified as Indhirani, a native of Madurai, is the key accused in the murder of her husband, 27-year-old R Rathish, a wall painter from Nallattipalayam village near Kinathukkadavu, The New Indian Express reported.
According to the police, the duo had married four years ago after getting into a relationship through social media, and have a three-year-old child. The couple had frequent quarrels during the past few months over the woman’s alleged extramarital affair with Vinoth from Karur. Vinoth is her relative who is working as a manager at a private bar there.

Rathish has been missing since December 26, with police registering a man-missing case. As police could not trace the man, his mother, Susila, filed a complaint stating that her son had gone missing after a quarrel with his wife. On December 31, police questioned Indhirani over suspicion due to her contradictory statements and discrepancies noticed while examining nearby witnesses.
The interrogation proved inconsistencies, leading to Indhirani’s eventual confession that she, along with her paramour Vinoth and two others, Suresh and Babu from Karur, murdered her husband Rathish and disposed of the body at Karur.

It is reported that Vinoth and Indirani hatched a plan to kill Rathish. The duo hired an ambulance from Karur and arrived at Thamaraikulam on the night of December 26 with his two friends. After killing Rathish at his house, they shifted the body to Karur, where it was abandoned on a railway track near Karur railway junction to pose it as a suicide.
Police arrested all the accused, which include R Indhirani (27) from Nallattipalayam in Coimbatore, Vinoth (35), Suresh (43), and Babu from Karur.
