Wife's Alleged Lover Arrested After Death Of Husband And 5-Year-Old Son In Bengaluru
Chikkabanavara, Bengaluru: An investigation into the death of father and his five-year-old son in Bengaluru’s Chikkabanavara, has revealed the role of his wife’s alleged lover. Police have arrested the accused man, and are questioning the wife of the deceased man, Abhinandan.
Abhinandan, a native of Kilar village in Kunigal taluk, was reportedly living with his wife Harini and son in Chikkabanavara. Both had been married for around six years and are living with their son at Gudde Basavapura.
On Sunday night, Abhinandan had returned home and slept with his son. However, when family members checked on them on Monday morning, both were found dead. The police noticed blood oozing from Abhinandan’s ears and injury marks on his body, raising suspicion over the circumstances of his death. The death of his five-year-old son also raised suspicion.
During the preliminary investigation, the police learnt that Abhinandan and Harini had a quarrel on Sunday night. Following the argument, the couple reportedly slept in separate rooms, with Abhinandan sleeping with his son in another room.
After finding inconsistencies in her account, Hirani was taken into custody and questioned by the police. According to preliminary findings, a dispute allegedly broke out between Abhinandan and Harini over sleeping arrangements. During the argument, Harini allegedly attacked her husband with a sambar ladle. The couple then reportedly went to separate rooms.
Police suspect that Harini subsequently contacted Vinay, her alleged lover and called him to the house. Investigators are now probing Vinay’s alleged involvement in the killing of Abhinandan.
It is suspended that the child allegedly woke up during the incident. The boy was also attacked and later suffocated to death.
