As farmer protests have been gaining momentum with news of breaking barricades and facing obstacles grabbing the headlines, Kites has emerged as an exclusive defence for farmers to the tear gas shell firing drones that the government is using against them.
The farmers are battling the police drones firing by flying kites. The video shared by an X user shows the farmers using the kites as their fighter jets to confront the police drone. The video shows the kites forcing the drone to retreat, threatening the potential crash of the government weapon used to suppress the farmers protest. The incident occurred in Punjab’s Shambhu border. The Haryana police today fired tear gas shelling at the protesting farmers to prevent them from entering Delhi.

However, as the police prepared to stop the massive “Dilli Chalo” march declared by the protesters, the farmers too prepared to confront the obstacles by making counter preparations, readying their tractors to destroy the multi-layered cemented blocks. Other arrangements have also been made to reduce the impact of tear gas shells and other police obstacles, according to the report.
The entry points to Delhi have been heavily fortified by deploying police, barricades, iron nails and other equipment.
Since the march was started, several farmers have been injured in multiple clashes with the police and the traffic across the Delhi and NCR zone has also been disrupted. The government today invited the farmer leaders to the table to discuss the protester”s demands, including the Minimum Support Price (MSP), among others.
