Google search data indicates that Zupee Ludo has been trending since the announcement of the Online Gaming Bill. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025, which was passed by Parliament during the Monsoon session, aims to ban all forms of online money games. The bill cites concerns such as gambling addiction, money laundering, and financial fraud as reasons for the ban.
The passage of bill caught sudden public attention, where everyday players checked how the new rules going to impact their gaming platforms. Along with Zupee Ludo, MPL, Rummy Circle, Dream11 news and Nazara Technologies emerged as top search trends on Google.

On Thursday, Zupee announced it was discontinuing online money games in line with the government’s new Online Gaming Bill 2025. However, the gaming platform added that it would continue to offer popular free-to-play games that do not involve cash, such as Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, and Trump Card Mania.

“Zupee remains fully operational and our players can continue to enjoy their favourite games on the platform. In line with the new Online Gaming Bill 2025, we are discontinuing paid games, but our hugely popular free titles like Ludo Supreme, Ludo Turbo, Snakes & Ladders, and Trump Card Mania will continue to be available for all users for free,” a Zupee spokesperson said.

The spokesperson further stated that the company remain committed to delivering fun, engaging, and responsible gaming and entertainment experiences to their over 150 million users across India.
Founded in 2018 by Dilsher Singh Malhi and Siddhant Saurabh, Gurugram-based Zupee became a major player in India’s real money gaming ecosystem.
