Applications Are Invited For 6,244 Vacancies Under TNPSC 2024 Group 4 Recruitment

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TN PSC) has invited applications for 6,244 group-4 vacancies. Registrations are to be done via online mode till February 28. Examination for the given posts will be held on June 9, 2024.

Candidates can apply for the posts of forest guard, forest guard with driving licence, forest watcher and forest watcher tribal youth in the Tamil Nadu Forest Department under TN Forest Subordinate Service, given in the notification.

The minimum general educational qualification means, a pass in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination with eligibility for admission to college course of studies in the Universities in Tamil Nadu, or a pass in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination of Tamil Nadu.

There will be two sections to the test. Part B of the answer sheets will only be reviewed if the candidate receives the minimum qualifying marks of 40% (i.e., 60 marks) in Part A. Part A will be a 150-mark Tamil eligibility scoring test. The combined total of the marks earned in Parts A and B will be used to determine ranking.

Desiring candidates must have adequate knowledge of the Tamil language. Only Tamil will be used to answer the questions in section A of the Tamil Eligibility and Scoring Test. Part B”s questions will be written in both Tamil and English.
