Bihar To Provide 12 Lakh Govt Jobs And 34 Lakh Opportunities: Arif Mohammad

Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan said that the state will provide 12 lakh government jobs and create 34 lakh employment opportunities for the youth by the end of this year, while addressing a gathering on January 26, at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna.

The state has so far created 24 lakh new jobs and provided 9 lakh jobs so far, he said. The Bihar government will provide 12 lakh government jobs and create 34 lakh employment opportunities for the youths by the end of this year, he added.

Maintaining the rule of law was the top priority of the state government, he said. The government is working in a planned way to control crime and maintain law and order.

The governor also said the government is committed to preserving communal harmony in the state. “An atmosphere of harmony and peace prevails in the state. When any incident of communal tension comes to light, prompt action is taken by the police and administration”, he said.

Reportedly, more than 4 lakh posts are lying vacant in the 40 different departments in Bihar. Nitish government has initiated preparations to fill up these posts before the next assembly elections. Bihar government will appoint nodal officers to fill up these vacancies and find new opportunties. In this direction, an order has been issued by the Bihar General Administration Department to appoint nodal officers for appointment and employment to all the departments.
