Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has issued an advertisement for recruitment to 2,847 posts of Junior Engineer (JE) Civil in 06 departments. To appear in the main examination, candidates will be able to submit online application forms and fees from 7th May. The last date has been set as 07 June and the applications will be accepted in the online mode only.
Based on the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) score, candidates will be given the opportunity to appear in the main examination. Candidates will also be able to complete the application process by visiting the website of the Commission with their pet registration number. Candidates will get an OTP number on their mobile.
Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the application form to present at the time of counseling.
Commission Secretary Avnish Saxena said that all categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 25. If shortlisted for the main examination, a separate fee will have to be paid.
The candidate should obtain the original certificate from the category for which he/she is applying in time.
Commission Chairman Pravir Kumar said that after the release of PET 2023 results on January 29, now recruitment advertisement has been issued for 10235 posts in various departments.
Notably, the eligibility test known as UPSSSC PET 2023 is being held to fill Group B and C positions. The 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions in the UPSSSC PET Exam Pattern 2023 must be answered in two hours. An incorrect response will result in a 1/4th mark deduction.
