The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the date for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2024 (Tier – II). The exam will be conducted on November 18, 2024.
The Tier-II exam will be conducted in two sessions on the same day. Sessions 1 and 2, along with Module 1 of Section 3, will be held in the first session, while Module 2 of Section 3 will be held in the second session.
Commission has already declared the Tier-1 results and a total of 41,465 candidates have qualified to move to the next round. The selected candidates will compete for a total of 3,712 vacancies including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO) across various government departments.

The SSC CHSL Tier 1- exam was conducted from July 1 to July 11, 2024, and the results were announced on September 7, 2024. The Tier-II exam features a revised pattern and will have three sections with two modules each. Section 1 includes Mathematical Abilities and Reasoning & General Intelligence; Section 2 covers English Language & Comprehension and General Awareness; and Section 3 will test Computer Knowledge and typing skills.
Candidates should note that there will be a negative marking in the exam and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer for the Objective type questions.
Also the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination is scheduled to be start on September 9 and conclude on September 26, 2024. The exam will be conducted for 17,727 graduate level vacancies at various departments of the central government.
