UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 Registration Begins

The Union Public Service Commission has started the application process for 232 posts under the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can register via the official website – upsc.nic.in.

As per the official notice, the last date to submit the application form is September 8, 2024, and the application window will be open from October 9 to October 15, 2024.

Candidates aged between 21 and 30 years can apply for the given posts. The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 200, however, female candidates, SC/ST candidates, and PwBD candidates are exempted from the fee. Payment options include any State Bank of India branch or online mode via Visa/Master/Rupay credit/debit cards, UPI, or Internet banking.

The recruitment through the ESE 2025 will be done for the following categories:

Category I: Civil Engineering

Category II: Mechanical Engineering

Category III: Electrical Engineering

Category IV: Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

The reservation into the services will be provided for SC, ST, OBC EWS, and PwBD category candidates in line with the government regulations.

UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025

The preliminary examination will be held on February 9, 2025. The examination will be conducted as per the rules published by the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications, in the Gazette of India dated September 18, 2024.

The examination will have three stages – Preliminary Exam, Main Exam (written), and interview stage. Those who clear all the stages will be recommended by the UPSC for different posts published.
