The now-viral post emerged after reports surfaced about an F-35 jet that went temporarily missing on June 14 during a training mission in the United States and remains grounded at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.

Seizing the moment, Kerala Tourism shared a post on social media that read, “Kerala, the destination you’ll never want to leave. Thank you, The Fauxy.”

Adding to the buzz was a note that appeared on the model of the F-35 used in the tourism post, which read: “Kerala is such an amazing place. I don’t want to leave. Definitely recommend.”
It was on June 4 that a British F-35B stealth fighter jet took off from the HMS Prince of Wales aircraft carrier during a joint military exercise in the Atlantic.
However, the aircraft lost contact soon after and was reported missing, prompting a recovery operation. The incident gained significant international media coverage due to the high-profile nature of the aircraft, known for its advanced stealth technology.
