French President Emmanuel Macron, the chief guest at the 75th Republic Day celebration watched the Republic celebration unfurled at “Kartavya Path” in Delhi. He has witnessed the grand Republic day parade and the cultural performances along with President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, members of the Union Cabinet, foreign diplomats and other dignitaries.
This year, the parade will be women-centric, heralded by 100 women artists with Indian musical instruments. Besides, the centre of attraction would be the indigenously developed Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas and the recently inducted C-295 transport aircraft as they will make their inaugural flypast. A 95-member French delegation will also march alongside the Indian soldiers on the Kartvya Path as part of the celebrations.
